Jets over Pampa: Invitation
are happy to invite you to their
30th Jets over Pampa
This 30th edition will take place on July 20 and 21, 2024 on the military shooting range at Houthalen Helchteren in Belgium.
After 4 cancelled editions -a virus, drought and a road construction- we look forward to welcome you again at our airfield.

Remark:
The jury will be active during the whole weekend, meaning all of your flights will be judged on both Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am till 5.00pm.

Only elektro powered jets with a minimum weight of 1,5 kg are allowed.
This is important too:
- Registered pilots will be contacted in June for subscribing to the dinner on Saturday evening.
- Only 2.4 GHz radio systems are allowed.
- There's catering service with snacks and drinks.
- In the evening we'll gather in the canteen at the new campsite for some drinks.
- Please provide info on your jets through the registration form. We pass that info to our speaker.
- There is no flying of any kind allowed on the camping.
- It's not allowed to fly after 9.00pm.
Pratical info airfield
For flying, not much will change:
- You can come to the field, and stay during the day (even with campers, etc). In the evening, you have to leave the field for the night.
- Trailers, vans, etc can stay at the field overnight.
- Planes and other stuff can be stored for the night in the tents at the field - also the big tent can be used as it's not used at night. We keep permanency during the night.
- At the field:
- On Friday you are welcome as of 16:00. On Saturday and Sunday as of sunrise.
- Saturday's dinner will be in the tent at our field. The bar remains open till 01h00.
- Electricity, shower and toilets are available all the time.
Practical info for camping
As camping on Belgian military sites is not allowed anymore, we offer an alternative campsite nearby (+/-3 km), that you may use free of charge (see overview below).
This campsite has been used and approved by pilots attending our fly-in.
- Tents, caravans can stay there during the day too, or may be moved to the flying field. There will be a permanency at the camping during the day.
- There is a toilet at the campsite. Also the sanitary at our field remains available permanently.
- There is no electricity and no water supply.
- BBQ is not allowed.
- You can stay at the campsite from Friday afternoon till Monday morning, 10:00.
- If you're looking for an accomodation in the neighbourhood, look around the area of 'Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium' (for our exact location check our Route description)
- We ask visitors to book a stay nearby.
